Introducing SPELL-Links™ to Reading & Writing!

 

At Southern California Collaborative Therapy (SCCT), we use the SPELL-Links™ program to help students unlock the connection between spoken and written language. Unlike traditional reading or spelling drills, SPELL-Links™ teaches the “why” behind words—how sounds, letters, and patterns work together. The key to helping frustrated readers is that SPELL-Links™ goes speech-to-print, not print-to-speech—the process begins with listening, not staring at a book. This instantly engages struggling readers because they’re no longer trying to decode abstract symbols; instead, they learn to connect meaningfully with the sounds of language first, the way we are neurologically designed! This evidence-based approach transforms literacy learning into a meaningful, brain-based process that strengthens reading, writing, and spelling skills for lasting confidence and success.

Unlike one-size-fits-all programs, SPELL-Links™ offers individualized learning paths—with targeted at-home opportunities—so students who are behind in reading and writing don’t waste time revisiting what they already know and instead focus on the exact skills they still need.

This approach is especially useful for those with a dyslexic learning profile.

​Process

Assessment is conducted using the SPELL-3, followed by the creation and implementation of a SPELL-Links individualized treatment plan based on each client’s results.

• Duration: Up to a 2-hour testing window for the SPELL-3 assessment (testing time varies depending on grade level and skill set). Each therapy session lasts 55 minutes following completion of the assessment and initiation of the SPELL-Links program.

• Rate:

  • SPELL-3 assessment & individualized therapy program creation: $299.00

  • Individual therapy sessions: $140.00 per session (or as per selected package pricing below)

1. Intensive Therapy Package

 

Eight 55-minute sessions of intensive, individualized speech and language therapy including:
 

• Direct therapy

• Family/caregiver coaching

• Home program

2. Literacy Boost Package

Twelve 55-minute sessions targeting reading, writing, spelling, and grammar skills through a customized SPELL-Links program based on SPELL-3 results.
 

Includes:

• Direct and consultative therapy approaches

• Individualized home program

• Focus on sound-to-letter mapping (how the brain naturally learns), offering a breakthrough for frustrated readers
